Comments: Sarah Monette is an American science fiction and fantasy author who also writes under the name Katherine Addison. She holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Wisconsin, wherein she specialized in Renaissance drama. Writing as Katherine Addison, she garnered a Hugo Award nomination, a World Fantasy Award nomination, a Nebula Award nomination, and a Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel win for her novel The Goblin Emperor. Monette has also been nominated for the Tiptree Award one, the Campbell Award for Best New Writer twice, and the Locus Award multiple times.

Monette writes a blog titled Notes from the Labyrinth, an official website named Labyrinthine, and a website for her alter ego named Katherine Addison. She can also be found on Twitter.
