Comments: Tamora Piece is an American fantasy author known for her many books aimed at teen readers, many of which are set in the Tortall universe, including the Song of the Lioness and the Protector of the Small quartets. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and has been publishing fiction since 1983. In 2013 she was honored for her body of work with the Margaret Edwards Award. She has also been nominated for the Mythopoeic Award twice, and the Locus Award three times.
