Comments: Sarah Pinsker is an American musician and science fiction author best known for her Nebula-winning story Our Lady of the Open Road. As a musician, Pinsker started her first band at the age of thirteen and, after much work, has released three albums, including one with the group Stalking Horses, and has a fourth forthcoming. As an author, in addition to her Nebula-winning story, Pinsker has published a couple dozen other works of short fiction, including the Sturgeon-winning and Nebula-nominated story In Joy, Knowing the Abyss Behind, the Nebula-nominated A Stretch of Highway, Two Lanes Wide, and the adorable romance Today's Smart House in Love. Pinsker's fiction has appeared in numerous venues, including Asimov's Science Fiction, Fantasy & Science Fiction, Strange Horizons, Lightspeed, and Uncanny Magazine.
