Death: Still alive and talking about the future.
Comments: Karl Schroeder is a Canadian science fiction author best known for his Virga series of novels. He has published a dozen novels and several works of short fiction, becoming known as one of the foremost practitioners of what is now known as the speculative realist school of philosophy, coining the term thalience. His writing has won two Aurora awards and been nominated for the Campbell Award once, and the Locus award multiple times.
Schroeder has a website named rather unsurprisingly KarlSchroeder. He can also be found on Twitter.
