Robinson, James Dale

Birth: April 1, 1963.

Death: Still alive and writing stories that hearken back to the Golden Age of comics.

Comments: James Dale Robinson is a British comic book writer best known for writing runs of Starman, Batman, Justice League of America, Fantastic Four, and the All-New Invaders, as well as the limited series The Golden Age. Robinson has been active writing comics for more than two decades, and has an extensive array of credits with both DC and Marvel as well as other publishing companies. Robinson also wrote the screenplay for the movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, although he received considerable criticism for his treatment of the material. Robinson has been nominated for the Eisner Award four times.
