Comments: Stephen Baxter is a British science fiction writer focused on writing "hard" science fiction. Baxter holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Southampton University and an MBA from Henley Management College.
He is best known for his expansive "Xeelee Sequence" that covers the entire history of the Universe from its inception in the Big Bang to its final conclusion. He has won the BFSA Award four times, the Sidewise Award twice, the Philip K. Dick Award twice, the Locus Award once, and the John Campbell Award once, as well as numerous other honors.
