Comments: Simone Caroti is an adjunct faculty member at Brevard Community College. He studied Anglo-American literature at the University of Trieste before coming to the United States to earn his Ph.D. in comparative literature from Purdue University. His dissertation was an examination of the thematic use of the generation starship in science fiction through the history of the genre, which has been transformed into the book The Generation Starship in Science Fiction: A Critical History, 1934-2001.
Caroti is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Astrosociology Research Institute, and has a page on Facebook.
