Comments: Benjamin Crowell is a science fiction and science author and an advocate for open source textbooks. He has a B.S. from UC-Berkeley and a Ph.D. in physics from Yale. He currently teaches physics at Fullerton College, a community college in southern California.
In addition to the numerous short stories that he has published in various science fiction magazines, Crowell has authored a selection of open source textbooks covering calculus and a number of physics areas.
