Death: Still alive and writing books faster than people can read them.
Comments: Brian Stableford is a British science fiction author. Stableford has a degree in biology from the University of York and a Ph.D. in the sociology of science fiction. He worked as a lecturer at the University of Reading beginning in 1977, but since 1988 he has been a full-time writer, with more than seventy novels published thus far.
Stableford used to write under the name "Brian M. Stableford", but in more recent works the middle initial has been dropped. He also sometimes writes under the pseudonym Brian Craig. There is a "quasi-official' website dedicated to Stableford named The Brian Stableford Website.
