Death: He's had triple bypass surgery, but he's still going more or less strong.
Comments: Ferrett Steinmetz is an American science fiction author originally from Connecticut, but who currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio. He works as a webmaster for Star City Games, and writes on the side. He's published four computer books and a number of short works of science fiction, one of which was nominated for a Nebula Award.
Because Steinmetz' day job is being a webmaster, he is very well-connected to the internet, with both a website named The Ferrett, and a blog named The Watchtower of Destruction: The Ferrett's Journal. Ferrett is also on Google+, has a page on Facebook, a YouTube channel, and you can follow him on Twitter.
