Birth: I have no idea when, but I'm pretty sure there was one.

Death: Still alive and building rockets.

Comments: David L. Clements is an astrophysicist and a science fiction writer. He is, as he says, a rocket scientist, or at least a rocket payload scientist. Clements has written a handful of science fiction stories, mostly in the hard science fiction subgenre.
