Death: Still alive and writing songs making fun of actual fascists

Comments: Steven Brust is an American science fiction and fantasy writer best known for the Vlad Taltos series of novels and other novels mostly set in the same fictional setting. Brust has also written several short stories for shared world anthologies such as Thieves' World, Liavek, and Sandman. Brust has been nominated for the Locus award several times, and has been nominated for the Nebula award once.

Brust is also a capable musician, playing the drums for the folk band Cats Laughing. He has also released a solo album titled A Rose for Iconoclastes, which got some airplay on the Dr. Demento Show.

Brust maintains a website named The Dream Café to promote his works, and you can also find him on Twitter.
