Death: Still alive and illustrating the fantasy world.
Comments: Larry Dixon is an American fantasy author and artist best known for his frequent collaborations with his wife, fellow fantasy author Mercedes Lackey. Dixon studied art at the North Carolina school of the Arts and the Savannah College of Art and Design and has provided both cover art and interior illustrations for numerous fantasy works and many of Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons & Dragons source books. He has also written several books and stories, although almost all of them were collaborations with his spouse.
Dixon has a website named The Gryphon King, and once upon a time he wrote a blog titled Sci-Fi Fantasy and Gamers Hurricane Relief Effort, but it hasn't been updated since 2005.
