Birth: I don't know when, but it was probably in Chicago, Illinois.
Death: Still alive and teaching mathematics.
Comments: Michael Sullivan, III is a professor of mathematics and statistics at Joliet Junior College. Sullivan attended DePaul University and asserts that he earned graduate degrees in economics and mathematics from that institution, but I don't know exactly what those degrees are.
Sullivan has written or cowritten more than twenty basic math textbooks, including books on statistics, intermediate algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus. Several of his books have been cowritten with his father Michael Sullivan or Katherine R. Struve.
My reviews of Michael Sullivan, III's books:
Fundamentals of Statistics, 3rd Edition
Other books by Michael Sullivan, III that I have read but not reviewed:
None
