Author - Lent, Jeremy

Birth: 1960.

Death: Still alive and obsessing over the prefrontal cortex.

Comments: Jeremy Lent is an English-born author and proponent of "liology", a discipline consisting of what appears to be a mish-mash of Eastern philosophy and religion with a little bit of pseudoscience thrown in for good measure. Lent believes that liology will counteract what he calls the "tyranny of the prefrontal cortex", upon which he blames all of the world's ills. Lent earned his B.A. and M.A. from Emmanuel College, Cambridge before coming to the United States. After starting a failed internet credit card company called NextCard, Lent founded the Liology Institute and took up writing instead, producing a couple of books about his obsession.

Lent has a website named Jeremy Lent, and he can be found on Google+.
