Comments: Carrie Patel is an American game writer and science fiction author best known for the Recoletta series. Patel attended Texas A&M University, earning a B.A. and an M.A. from that institution. She works as a narrative designer for Obsidian Entertainment, and wrote for the game Pillars of Eternity. She has also written two novels: The Buried Life and Cities and Thrones.

Patel writes a blog titled Electric Ink. She can also be found on Twitter.
