Author - Stelfreeze, Brian

Birth: It happened. Maybe it was even akin to a super-hero origin story.

Death: Still alive and making art.

Comments: Brian Stelfreeze is an American comic book artist and author. He has worked extensively in the American comic book industry, including stints with both Marvel and DC. For Marvel, he provided the artwork for the Black Panther series recently written by Ta-Nehisi Coates, and previously provided artwork for titles such as Elektra, Wolverine, and Domino. On the DC side of the comic book universe, he's provided artwork for their flagship titles Batman and Superman as well as for other titles like Firestorm, Matador and The Authority. He's been credited as an inker, penciller, colorist, and painter. Stelfreeze was one of the original members of the freelance group Gaijin Studios and served as its art director before the collective closed up shop in 2010.

Stelfreeze can be found on Twitter. He has a blog named Work in Progress, but it appears to have last been updated in 2010. There is also a Facebook fan page dedicated to him.
