Birth: I have no idea when, maybe somewhere in the Philippines? Or maybe near Chicago?

Comments: Michi Trota is a Filipina-American science fiction editor who serves as the managing editor for the Hugo award-winning Uncanny Magazine. In her capacity as the managing editor of Uncanny Magazine, Trota became the first Filipina to win a Hugo Award and a finalist for the World Fantasy Award. In addition to her work blogging and editing, Trota has also written a featured essay for the Jim C. Hines edited anthology Invisible.
