Comments: Scott Rosenberg is an American journalist and author. He worked as a writer for the San Francisco Examiner from 1986 to 1995. In 1995 he left the Examiner and cofounded the website Salon.com. He recently founded MediaBugs.org and is the executive editor for Grist.org.
Although Rosenberg is not a programmer, and has no formal technical background, most of his writing career has been dedicated to following and writing about the software industry. Rosenberg shares his name with an actor and screenwriter, but they are not the same person.
