Author - Johnson, Bill

Birth: Some time in the 1950s.

Death: Still alive and writing science fiction about the Dakotas.

Comments: Bill Johnson is an American science fiction author originally born in South Dakota who has a name so common that it is very difficult to find more than the barest details about him amidst all of the material about other Bill Johnsons. Most of Johnson's published work has been short fiction, although he has published a few essays and a handful of reviews as well. A decent chunk of Johnson's stories are found in the collection Dakota Dreamin', including his 1998 Hugo-award winning novelette We Will Drink a Fish Together.
