Author - Jemisin, N.K.

Birth: No idea.

Death: Not yet.

Comments: N.K. Jemisin is a speculative fiction writer. She earned a B.S. in psychology from Tulane University, and an M.Ed. from the University of Maryland. She has won for the Hugo Award three times, the Nebula Award once, and the Locus Award twice.

She is most famous for her Hugo and Nebula-nominated novel The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms which won the Locus Award for Best First Novel and her Hugo winning books The Fifth Season, The Obelisk Gate, and The Stone Sky, but I ran across her writing in the book Geek Wisdom. She has a website highlighting her work that is named Epiphany 2.0 | N.K. Jemison, and you can follow her on Twitter.
