Bear, Lynch, and Me at MidAmeriCon II
Birth: April 2, 1978.

Death: Still alive and writing in between fighting fires.

Comments: Scott Lynch is an American fantasy author best known for his novel The Lies of Locke Lamora, the first book in his Gentleman Bastard series. Lynch has published two further novels in the series, with another four planned. He has also written a handful of works of short fiction. Lynch's work has been nominated for the World Fantasy Award and the Locus award, and he was a finalist for the Campbell Award for Best New Writer twice. When he is not writing, Lynch is a volunteer fire-fighter.

Lynch is engaged to fellow science fiction author Elizabeth Bear.

Lynch has a website named The Official Website of Scott Lynch. He also writes a LiveJournal blog titled The Dork Lord, On His Dork Throne, although Lynch appears to only update it intermittently. Lynch can also be found on Twitter and Tumblr. He is also a regular cast member of the Blake's 7 themed podcast Down and Safe. There is also a fansite dedicated to Lynch's work named Gentlemen Bastards.
