Author - Silverman, Hildy

Silverman and me at CapClave 2015
Birth: August 31 of some year prior to this one.

Death: Not enough space or time has passed.

Comments: Hildy Silverman is an American science fiction author and editor. She has published a handful of pieces of short fiction and I believe she is currently working on a novel. In 2013 her short story The Six Million Dollar Mermaid was nominated for the WSFA Small Press Award, although it did not win. Silverman is also the editor-in-chief of Space and Time Magazine.

Silverman can also be found on Twitter and Facebook.

Hildy Silverman is married to David Silverman, an atheist activist who is the former President of American Atheists. At some conventions, Silverman has teamed up with publisher and editor Ian Randall Strock, and fellow authors Michael A. Ventrella, and Keith R.A. DeCandido to act out a live version of the painfully awful story The Eye of Argon. If you find yourself in a position to attend such a performance, it is well-worth your time to attend.
