Musical Artist - Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival, also referred to as Creedence or CCR, was a California-based American rock band that released several albums between 1968 and 1972. Despite the fact that all four members were from the San Fransisco bay area, due to their style of music and John Fogerty's accent it is a fairly common assumption that they are actually from Louisiana.

Through the  late 1960s, the band released several hit singles including Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, Have You Ever Seen Rain, Lodi, Looking Out My Back Door, Proud Mary, Run Through the Jungle, and Who'll Stop the Rain. Almost all of Creedence Clearwater Revival's most popular songs were written by lead vocalist John Fogerty who also exerted substantial control over almost every aspect of the band's operations, which eventually led to friction between the members and the dissolution of the band in 1972.

There is a Facebook page dedicated to the band.
