Musical Artist - Parker Jr., Ray

Ray Parker, Jr. is an American musician most famous for writing and recording the theme song to the movie Ghostbusters. After performing in Detroit nightclubs, Parker was recruited by the Spinners to play guitar for their touring band. Parker spent most of the 1970s performing with the Spinners, Stevie Wonder, and Barry White as well as working as a session guitarist for a couple dozen artists. In the late 1970s, Parker formed the band Raydio and recorded the hits Jack and Jill and You Can't Change That. Parker eventually went solo and released the hit The Other Woman in 1982. He recorded his most famous song - the theme to the movie Ghostbusters - in 1984.
