Musical Artist - Mystery Science Theater 3000

Mystery Science Theater 3000 was a television show that ran from 1988 through 1997, and then again through 1999. The basic format of the show involved a human host, played by Joel Hodgson until the middle of season five, and Michael T. Nelson thereafter, accompanied by two robots named Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot watching what would normally be regarded as a pretty awful movies and giving brutal commentary to make it entertaining. The three were joined by yet another robot named Gypsy for non-movie segments. The hapless human had supposedly been tricked into being shot into space where his only entertainment was awful movies as a cruel science project, and the robots were supposedly built by him so that he would have some companions. But the real point of the show was to take movies that were often otherwise nigh-unwatchable and make them fun with the addition of silly commentary.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 has an official website named, unsurprisingly, The Official Mystery Science Theater 3000 Website.
