Comments: Esther Friesner is an American fantasy author best known for the Princesses of Myth and Chicks in Chainmail series. Esther Friesner holds a Ph.D. in Spanish, and was a professor at Yale University prior to embarking upon her writing career. Since she turned her hand to writing, she has published numerous novels, several dozen works of short fiction, and has edited a number of anthologies. Over the course of her career, she has been nominated for the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award multiple times, and has won the Nebula Award twice.
