Comments: David Erik Nelson is an American writer and editor who is mostly known for his short works of science fiction and editing educational anthologies, but has also written a craft book titled Snip, Burn, Solder, Shred: Seriously Geeky Stuff to Make with Your Kids, which seems like the sort of book that I should get. He is one of the co-founders of the online magazine Poor Mojo's Almanac(k), and served as its coeditor it for several years.
