Author - Hand, Elizabeth

Birth: March 29, 1957.

Death: Still alive and writing stories set in Maine.

Comments: Elizabeth Hand is an award winning fantasy author. She studied drama and anthropology at Catholic University and worked for a time for the Smithsonian Institution at the National Air & Space Museum. She has won the Nebula Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Mythopoeic Award, as well as several other honors.

Hand used to be partnered with novelist Richard Grant, and has two children with him. After that relationship dissolved, she began living with critic John Clute. She maintains a website named Elizabeth Hand, and you can find her on Twitter under the name Liz_Hand.
