Stephen Moore is a British actor who has appeared in numerous British television shows, but from my perspective is most notable for providing the voice of Marvin the Paranoid Android in the BBC radio and television adaptations of the
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the voice of Professor Calculus in radio adaptations of the
Tintin books. He was also the reader for the audiobook adaptations of five books the
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.
I addition to his extensive voice work, Moore also has a fairly interesting collection of movie and television appearances, also appeared as Eldane in the
Doctor Who episode
Cold Blood, Colonel Berkley in
Sharpe's Sword, and Major Robert Steele in the movie
A Bridge Too Far.
