Musical Artist - Journey

Journey was formed in 1973 with guitarist Neil Schon as one of the core founding members, but didn't really have substantial commercial success until 1977 when Steve Perry joined the band. Through the 1980's they were famous for power ballads fueled by Perry's powerful tenor such as Faithfully, Open Arms, and Don't Stop Believin'. There's not really much one can say about Journey other than they were an arena rock band that was extraordinarily popular in the 1980's until personality conflicts resulted in Perry leaving. The band is still around, with a different front man, but is more or less living on faded glory now.

The band has an official website named Journey. They can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
